Form Analyzer

The Form analyzer uses on-device pose estimation to give you feedback on your lifting technique from a video — no wearables, no extra hardware.

How to use it

  1. Open Form analyzer from the menu.

  2. Record a set (or pick an existing video) with your whole body visible in frame — a phone propped at hip height, a few metres away, works well.

  3. The analyzer maps your body position through the movement and highlights what it sees.

Getting the best results

  • Lighting and framing matter — the model needs to see your joints, so avoid heavy shadows and keep your full body in frame for the whole set.

  • Film from a useful angle — side-on for squats, deadlifts and presses generally reads best.

  • Analysis runs on your device — your videos aren't uploaded anywhere for processing.

What it's for (and not for)

The Form Analyzer is a training aid, not a medical or safety device. It's great for spotting things you can't feel — depth, bar path drift, asymmetry — but it doesn't replace a qualified coach's eye. If you train with a coach on Synrgetic, attach the video to your set and get their feedback too.
