# Workouts

The **Workouts** section is where you create, plan and log your training.

## Creating a workout

1. Open **Workouts** and tap the add button.
2. Name your workout and pick a date — plan ahead or log as you train.
3. Add exercises by searching Synrgetic's exercise database. Mark exercises you use often as **favourites** to find them faster; your **frequent** exercises surface automatically.
4. For each exercise, add your planned sets with target reps and weight.

## While you train

* Log each set as you complete it — weight, reps and RPE.
* **Previous lifts** show what you did last time for the same exercise, right where you need them; keep scrolling to load your older sessions.
* Attach a **video** to a set to review your form later (or to share with your coach).
* Rest, adjust, repeat.

## Save time on planning

* **Clone a workout** to repeat a previous session.
* **Copy exercises** from one workout into another.
* **Copy exercise notes** across workouts so instructions travel with the movement.
* **Change an exercise** mid-plan without losing your set scheme.

## Drop sets and advanced logging

Synrgetic supports **drop sets** — log the weight reductions within a single exercise entry rather than faking extra sets. Custom exercise fields (like tempo, band colour, or anything your coach defines) can appear alongside standard sets — see [Client workouts](/coach-mode/client-workouts.md) for how coaches set these up.

## Workouts from your coach

If a coach assigns your training, coached workouts appear in the same place with their instructions and exercise guides attached — see [Your workouts from your coach](/training-with-a-coach/coached-workouts.md).
